Chassisplate

Chassisplate in 3 mm 7075 T6 Ergal, machined to make lighter and to improve Low-Cycle Torsional Fatigue. 6° kick-up. The interlocking holes to locate the fairing bracket and rear suspension. Angled sides to increase stiffness. Laser engraved RR8-GT logo.

Bumper set

Made of plastic skid on the chassis that fixes the foam support made of Tecam. Foam through an Ergal plate.

Chassis stiffners

Composite stiffner front and rear, to give extra stiffness.

Central diskbrake system

Located on the central front axle, powered by steel pads with special friction material.

Radio-box

Consists of two boxes for an accurate weight distribution. In addition to containing the receiver, the radio box is also laid out for a switch housing. The battery is safely placed on the front side box to feed the transponder that is on the carbon servo mount plate.

Servo arms and linkages

Very simple and fluid system. Linkage flows very smooth that is an easy way to get very precise in your adjustment.

Steeringblocks assembly

Adjustable servo saver controls the Ackermann in Ergal plate, which by means of two adjustable ties, operates the front sprocket. The suspension steering incorporates stub-axles by means of Ergal treated/anodized balls that ensure high impact shock and wear resistance. The front stub-axle uses large diameter ball bearings in cm 15x21x4 and 8x16x5.

Front suspension

The front arms are made of Zytel 801, plastic material with high tenacity and strength. The arms are fixed with special steel pins and bushings on Ergal plates. System that allows an easy adjustment by changing the bushings and arm thicknesses (Caster).

Front anti-roll bar

The ball-raced front anti-roll bar system, consists of a steel wire, which is connected to the suspension arm via ball-raced and guided through the differential case. The wire can simply be varied as it is provided with different diameters for an adequately controlled of the bar on the model.

Shocktower and body-mounts front

The shock absorbers are fixed to the lower arms by balls while the top is secured by 3 cm aluminum spacers in carbon. Adjustable carbon body-mount by 5 positioning hooking holes.

Ackermann plates

The Ackermann plate is made of anodized Ergal 7075 T6. Simple positioning with the servomotor bushings. The ball-end coupling point joining the steering tie rod to the stub-axle can be adjusted thanks to the link on one of the 3 holes on the Ackermann plate.

Rear suspension arms

The rear arms are made of Zytel 801, plastic material with high tenacity and strength. The arms are fixed with special steel pins and bushings on Ergal plates. System that allows an easy adjustment of the bushings. The height of the lower suspension arm can be adjusted by the screw on the arm.

Rear uprights assembly

Composite uprights consist of a zytelstub-axle hinged to the lower suspension arm and adjustable by the spacers between arm and stub-axle. It uses 15x21x4 and 8x16x5 bearings adjustable stub-axle at the fixing point of the upper suspension tie rod. The dragwheels are made of anodized Ergal and fitted with anti-screwdriver shaped wheel nut.

Rear anti-roll bar

The ball-raced rear anti-roll bar system, consists of a steel wire, which is connected to the suspension arm via ball-raced and guided through the differential case. The wire can simply be varied as it is provided with different diameters for an adequately controlled of the bar on the model.

The shock absorbers are fixed to the lower arm by balls while the top is secured by 3 cm aluminum spacers in carbon. Adjustable carbon body-mount by 6 positioning holes.

Wing-mount and body-mounts rear

The Zytel wing-mount provides a good efficiency to the wing: easy to adjust shifting the carbon plate impact from the rear body. The front body-mount is laid out for height adjustable columns placed on the front bumper and also centrally on the Ergal plate that supports the front suspension.

Captured Pivot pins and balls and bolted hinge pins

All treated-steel hinge pins are highly resistant to both impact and wear. Pivot balls are made of 35 micron anodized Ergal and are connected via adjustable threaded pins.

Shock absorbers

Made of plastic skid on the chassis that fixes the foam support made of Tecam. Foam through an Ergal plate.

Shock springs

The springs used on the shock absorbers have emerged from the evolution of this model on the various tracks. They are available in 4 colors (red, white, blue, green) showing 4 different hardnesses.

Gear differentials F/R

Consist of 6 gears with smooth metal. To guarantee an excellent heat resistance and good toughness, the model uses carbon Zytel perfect sealing case with 43T conical crown and special gasket for a good adherence of the silicone grease.
Differential shafts are made of a heat treated steel 18 to ensure a long lasting durability and an exceptional resistance. The semi-axes are moved through steel plugs connected to the differential planetary gear; the whole unit running in 8x14x4 bearings – conical crown with 13T bevel gear running in 2 bearings 8x16x6.

Front and rear CVD-sets

Drive is transmitted from the differential to the wheels by means of 4 steel CVD rolling against 15x21x4 and 8x16x5 bearings.

Central transmission gear parts

Consists of 2 homokinetic hinges (constant velocity joints) with high resistance.

Engine mount

The motor is connected to the chassis by two independent anodized benches in Ergal.

Exhaust and Alu mount

The tuned pipe is secured by a steel wire with the coils spring in anodized alumium holder. Helps to provide better impact resistance and to prevent various stresses to which the model is subjected to.

Gear-box set

The gear set consists of two special light flanges in Ergal. The clutch masses are placed along the surface treated shaft to which the homokinetic hinges are connected.

Gear-box flanges

The first bell-shaped flange is connected to the nylon crown by three screws and runs in two flanged bearings. This is powered by the clutch masses on the gear-box and the whole unit works thanks to the engine’s rotation.
The second flange that uses an one-way bearing is connected to the crown by three screws. After placing it on the axle and secured it by benzing, the gear-box will be fully operational. The crowns can be provided as follows: 44-45-46-48-49-50 T. The motor pinion can be supplied with the following teeth: 13-14-15-16-17-18 T (other types can be provided upon request).

Clutch

The clutch consits of 7075 Ergal flywheel with 3 shoe clutch made of carbon and Ergal. The clutch case cap houses the whole unit of shoe and springs and shall be equipped with a cam which can easily adjust the clutch action on the motor pinion.

150 CC fuel-tank

150 CC standard fuel-tank with a bronze sintered filter and splash-side guard. The system ensures a constant flow of fuel to the engine in every position and also prevents fuel outflow into the brakingblock assembly.

Oils and grease

The model is not supplied with oils or grease.
